The Ivory Coast private health sector platform is an alliance between professional organizations and companies in the private health sector as well as civil society acting in the health sector.

It was born on the initiative of the SHOPS project, funding from USAID West Africa and the agreement of the Ministry of Health and the Fight against AIDS.

Created in 2015 with the objective of uniting, organizing and representing professional organizations from the private health sector and civil society acting in the health sector within all public and private bodies in order to facilitate access universal access to quality health services.

The PSPSCI is apolitical, non-denominational and non-profit. Its vision is that of a United private sector, in order to have a single key contact, committed, organized to facilitate access to quality health services for all.

Its specific objectives are:

• Select and organize members while respecting diversity and inclusion
• Identify priorities and mobilize the participation of all stakeholders for the submission of requests within dialogue and public-private partnership bodies
• Develop and submit grant proposals to the state and technical and financial partners
• Ensure monitoring and evaluation of grant implementation
• Participate in the development and validation of regional and sub-regional projects in collaboration with the platforms of other countries concerned.
